For a contest with the theme "From the Deep" So I painted a giant sea creature turning over an aircraft carrier as fighter jets fire missiles at it.

Fuck I hate sea monsters...

The water and the octopus are amazing, but I don't really agree with the trails from the two rockets. It almost looks like the octopus is shooting something out of his mouth, at least to me.
The aircraft carrier is really well done, though.

Awesome. The green on the wave tops adds so much depth to the water (which is handled beautifully.) The squid's head is excellent, too. This is a great piece!
